Welcome to TraderCouncil (https://tradercouncil.com). This Privacy Policy explains clearly and comprehensively how TraderCouncil collects, uses, stores, protects, and handles your personal information and Google account data when you use our web application and authenticate via Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0).
1. Information We Collect (Including Google User Data)
When you sign in to TraderCouncil using Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) or email/password authentication via Firebase Authentication, we collect only the minimum necessary basic profile information:
- Email Address (
emailscope): Used to uniquely identify your TraderCouncil account, manage your subscription/credits, and communicate essential account or security notices. - Basic Profile Information (
profile&openidscopes): Your display name, unique Google User ID, and profile picture URL so we can personalize your TraderCouncil interface header and account profile. - User-Provided Application Data: Chart screenshots/snapshots you upload or paste for AI multi-agent technical analysis, risk-calculator settings, and trading journal entries you explicitly save to your account.
- Technical & Security Telemetry: Basic request timestamps, browser user-agent headers, and error logs used strictly to maintain platform uptime, prevent abuse, and ensure security.
2. How We Use Your Data
TraderCouncil uses the collected information exclusively for the following user-facing purposes:
- To authenticate your identity and maintain your secure session across devices.
- To store and synchronize your personal trading journal, saved chart analyses, and risk management preferences.
- To track and allocate your analysis credit balance and subscription tier.
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries sent by you.
3. Google API Services User Data Policy & Limited Use Compliance
TraderCouncil's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- We never sell, rent, license, or trade your Google user data or personal information to any third party, data broker, or advertising network.
- We do not use your Google account data for targeted advertising or creditworthiness evaluation.
- We do not request access to sensitive or restricted Google Workspace scopes (such as Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or Contacts).
4. Data Storage, Encryption & Security
All user authentication records and saved application documents are stored securely on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS (TLS 1.2/1.3) and encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption managed by Google Cloud. Access to user records is strictly isolated per authenticated user ID (UID) via Firestore Security Rules.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely only on essential infrastructure providers required to operate the service:
- Google Cloud & Firebase: For secure OAuth 2.0 authentication, Cloud Run hosting, and Cloud Firestore database storage.
- Google Gemini API: Chart snapshots submitted by you for technical analysis are processed ephemerally to generate your multi-agent trading verdict.
- Stripe: If you purchase a subscription or credit pack, payment processing is handled directly by Stripe; TraderCouncil never stores your credit card numbers.
6. Data Retention, Access & Account Deletion Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You retain full ownership and control over your personal data. We retain your account profile and trading journal entries only for as long as your account remains active. You have the right to:
- Access, export, or delete any saved trading journal entry directly within the TraderCouncil application at any time.
- Revoke TraderCouncil's OAuth access at any time from your Google Account Permissions page.
- Request complete and permanent deletion of your TraderCouncil account and all associated personal data by contacting us at othmen.mohammadi@gmail.com. Deletion requests are processed within 7 business days.
